Ai 383R Street/Strip Engine - 9.5's at 142mph NA on 93 octane! - Rick's old 383 was a little long in the tooth after having made thousands of passes under our CNC ported GM LT1's and becoming the fastest NA GM LT1 Head/Intake F-body. To continue to utilize Rick's ability to collect real world data we chose to put a new offering through the wringer as a weekly racer - one of our Ai 383R LT1 longblocks. This is truly a Street/Strip engine. To ensure streetability it is only 11.7:1 static compression. Paired with a moderate cam that exhibits excellent drivability and peaks at only 7000rpm it'll sit in traffic or decimate tires with over 530rwhp on tap. Using our 215cc CNC'd TFS LT1 heads & LT1 Pro-Ram the car has run consistent 9.6's all summer in average 1400-2200ft DA. However, once the weather dipped below 1000ft DA the additional power has completely upset Rick's finely adjusted setup. On pump fuel with 10deg of timing pulled out the car is out of control - breaking wheelie bars, bending suspension mounts, and being unruly in general.

Jeff Gilbert's 96 TA is dangerously close to 8 second ET's! - As seen making a mockery of a turbo honda ("I need 20 car lengths...") on Pink's, Jeff's 1996 Trans-Am is brutally quick. Soon to be one of only a few to break into the 8 second range with an LT1 f-body, Jeff has done an excellent job getting this car together and sorted out. It's powered by a 396cid LT1 shortblock with our 215cc CNC'd TFS LT1's, a "Street/Strip" ported GM LT1 intake manifold, and still utilizes a hydraulic roller cam and the GM PCM! Click HERE for a quick Dyno video or HERE to check out video of his 9.06 @ 151.48mph pass!

Another Satisfied Customer:
Hi Guys,
Hats off to both of you. Car passed smog! Monday I'll scan the smog sheet and send you guys a copy for your own info.
By the way, this thing pulls like a freight train and high gear freeway roll ons are brutal! Once again, nice job guys and I'll keep you up to date.

Ai's Money Back Guarantee!
To demonstrate our determination to consistently provide the best Value and accurately market it - We offer what most refuse to - a Money Back Guarantee! Our reputation as a company that has refused to play flowbench or dyno "games" is an integral part of who we are. This is our way of ensuring every potential customer knows that we are so confident in the quality and performance of our products that if you are not 100% satisfied with our product - return it with no questions asked. Please check our Policies Page for complete information.
Our Goal... is to consistently provide superior quality and winning street & track performance at an affordable price.
How do we accomplish this?
We focus on optimum runner shape & chamber design. This approach promotes the desired charge motion and combustion characteristics that make our heads the most efficient in the market. Ask anyone who has tuned our heads - most note how our topend requires less timing advance and more fuel than other offerings. Peak port flow and chassis dyno numbers are nothing more than a by-product and are just along for the ride. Higher peak dyno or flow numbers do not always yield superior street and track performance. This is not speculation. It is fact that has been documented by professional race teams for years. For those that are satisfied with a dynograph or a flow sheet the market is over run with options.
Our 2000sqft environmentally controlled shop is equipped with the latest manufacturing equipment, precision gauging, and computer data acquisition technology. Port development is done on a SuperFlow SF-600, the industries Gold Standard for flow benches. It is outfitted with accessories that analyze port motion and efficiency. Test data is captured by FlowCom, a fully computerized data acquisition system, that precisely monitors and controls test conditions. Our Newen Contour CNC machining center can hold valve seat tolerances of 3 microns or less… precision that is out of reach for any other seat machining system. Newen valve jobs are the standard of F1, NASCAR and all other racing series where precision and performance of the highest caliber cannot be compromised. It absolutely does make a difference. Click -->People who know, demand Newen.
Work is completed on-site to ensure process control, final quality, and performance. Complete control over processes and extreme attention to detail ensures that our customers not only receive a product that will outperform any other option, but will exhibit greater longevity and have a higher re-sale value as well!
Our location, at the center of the nation’s largest racing industries affords us with opportunities to work with & learn from other professionals at the pinnacle of motorsport technology.
