Below are the most common groups of parts requested as a Cam Kit. The most
popular is our "Beehive LS HR Kit,"
which utilizes the highest quality beehive spring available today. This spring is a direct swap in part
and works phenomenally well with the lightweight OEM retainers & excellent OEM seals. The "Beehive LS HR Kit" is
an excellent option for most HR applications below .630" net valve lift.
The "BTR Dual LS HR Kit" is a kit based around the BTR .660" rated dual spring kit. It
includes Titanium retainers and will handle even the most
aggressive high lift cam grinds.

Cam Options
Listed below are the grinds we most commonly run. They are generally on wider 113-117 lobe separations to maximize idle
quality and P2V clearance so you may mill heads in the future to gain compression. We're happy to provide any combination
of lobe or lobe separation you would prefer (e.g. a 228° .626" Int. & 234° .600" Exh. on

Ai 214 / 224 - .600" / .583" - 117 LSA
- Very mild idle w/ stock drivability. Typically makes peak power in the low 6XXXrpm range.
Ai 224 / 230 - .610" / .605" - 114 LSA
- A great daily driver cam. This grind has a noticeable lope at idle, retains excellent manners, and makes power
into the mid 6XXXrpm range. Most often run in LS1/346's and LS3's.
Ai 226 / 234 - .600" / .600" - 113 LSA
- Our most popular cam for stock short block LS1's. Noticeable lope, great drivability, and very mild
lobe designs for long spring life.
Ai 228 / 236 - .626" / .626" - 114 LSA
- Ideal for max effort HR applications that need a wide power band & do not want to run a large camshaft.
Ai 230 / 238 - .605" / .605" - 114 LSA
- An excellent daily driver cam for stock short block LS2's. Lopes at idle, and makes peak power in the mid 6XXXrpm
range.
Ai 234 / 238 - .626" / .626" - 114 LSA
- Can drive very well with competent tuning. Lopey idle, excellent in the 4000-7000rpm range.
Ai 238 / 242 - .626" / .626" - 115 LSA
- Largest cam typically run in stock displacement street cars. Lopey idle, excellent in the 4000-7000rpm
range.
