Over the years we've noted that the vast majority of guys are looking for the same thing -
a reliable hot rod ideally suited for the street, capable at the track, and striking an ideal compromise between longevity
and power gains. The following setups are ideal for use on stock short block cars running 91 octane or better pump
fuel, and drive well with stock gearing. All of the following kits include in house QC inspection of every camshaft
to ensure your individual cam will simply install "straight up." Adjustable aftermarket timing sets, piston relief cutting,
and cam degreeing/adjustment is
NOT required for adequate piston to valve clearance. With proper
tuning these setups typically manage 22-30 MPG highway fuel economy.
Power Gains: The horsepower output ranges assume a set of aftermarket headers, and estimate a realistic
range that can be expected from moderate inlet & exhaust restriction to minimally restricted "full bolt-on" cars.

- A great daily driver cam. This grind has a noticeable lope at idle, retains excellent manners, and makes power
into the mid 6XXXrpm range. Most often run in LS1/346's and LS3's.

- Our most popular cam for stock short block LS1's. Noticeable lope, great drivability, and very mild
lobe designs for long spring life.
Ai 228 / 236 - .626" / .626" - 114 LSA
- Ideal for max effort HR applications that need a wide power band & do not want to run a large camshaft.
Ai 230 / 238 - .605" / .605" - 114 LSA
- An excellent daily driver cam for stock short block LS2's. Lopes at idle, and makes peak power in the mid 6XXXrpm
